For the first several years (can't remember how many) I worked for the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) which at the time was called the Soil Conservation Service (SCS). I then moved to the USDA Forest Service, where I've remained. Colleges: Some... Major: Journalism, but I've never worked at it. High Schools: Yes....
